Arquitectura: Anmahian Winton Architects<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El Centro comunitario de botes de remo Harry Parker ha revitalizado un tramo descuidado del r\u00edo Charles en Boston (Estados Unidos). El dise\u00f1o innovador y sostenible del cobertizo para botes hizo que ganara la medalla Harleston Parker en su primer a\u00f1o de elegibilidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El proyecto consta de dos edificios. El m\u00e1s peque\u00f1o es un pabell\u00f3n con tejas de vidrio que se utiliza para guardar las embarcaciones y el equipo. El exterior del edificio principal est\u00e1 revestido con paneles de madera sin mantenimiento NATURCLAD-W<\/a> en tono Pale<\/a> cortados y mecanizados a medida para adaptarse al sistema operable de persianas y ventilaciones biplegables que reduce eficientemente el consumo de energ\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La fachada es funcional y a la vez evoca la est\u00e9tica del entorno. La madera natural recuerda a los tradicionales puentes cubiertos y graneros de tabaco de Nueva Inglaterra, mientras que las superficies del edificio se transforman seg\u00fan los movimientos del sol y del usuario alrededor del cobertizo. Estos movimientos reflejan los de un remero que navega por el vecino r\u00edo Charles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
