The new building for Aldapeta María School, designed by IDOM in San Sebastián, replaces the original 19th-century structure with a proposal focused on energy efficiency and making the most of natural light. The façade combines concrete with vertical natural timber slats, adding rhythm, warmth and depth. This solution reinforces the complex’s architectural identity and ensures high durability with minimal maintenance.
