The Tina and Hamid Moghadam Building (Building 55), designed by AW-ARCH for MIT, expands and reinterprets the historic Green Building, creating a new entrance and an interdisciplinary hub dedicated to Earth, environmental, and climate sciences. Natural timber, present on the facade and in interiors, brings warmth, material continuity, and durability, reinforcing the connection between architecture, sustainability, and environment.
